“Season of Death” is episode one of season three of Farscape.
At the end of season two finale “Die Me, Dichotomy”, Aeryn had apparently been killed by Crichton whilst he was under the influence of Scorpius’s neural chip (however, as The Peacekeeper Wars was the only Farscape thing I’d completely seen before, I knew this wouldn’t be permanent and, indeed, it isn’t).
Crichton had decided to have the surgery to remove the chip done, Scorpius himself had turned up at the end, apparently killing the doctor (he didn’t), taking the chip and leaving Crichton unable to speak and with the top of his head missing. Generally, you tend to need the top of your head.
Chiana and D’Argo’s son are getting a little bit too close to each other.
So, they have to fix Crichton and bring Aeryn back from the dead, and there’s a Scarran in the mix as well.
