“The Opposites of Attraction” is episode fifteen of season five of Andromeda.
In the previous episode, “The Past is Prolix”, Trance’s sun started coming through the Route of Ages. The Vedran braking mechanism for it still doesn’t work, due to one of the Seefran suns malfunctioning – they are what control the mechanism. Consequently, the entire system is still at risk.
Harper has designed a method for helping prevent the destruction – basically, a giant space umbrella. Delivering it to its correct place is going to be difficult, though.
Meanwhile, a mysterious woman has appeared on the Andromeda Ascendant. She’s looking for her husband – Dylan. The woman is actually the avatar of the black hole that captured the Andromeda in “Under the Night”.
