“His Sister’s Keeper” is episode six of season one of The 100.
This episode starts with the birth of Bellamy’s illegal sister, Octavia (illegal because childbirth is limited on the Ark due to their scarce resources), in what was probably the easiest unassisted childbirth ever. There are some more flashbacks regarding their relationship. At the end of the previous episode, “Twilight’s Last Gleaming”, Octavia had come to consciousness with a Grounder looking at her, and the Ark had still killed the 300+ people they intended, because they didn’t see the rockets in time. Bellamy had been making sure they couldn’t communicate with the Ark to protect himself.
They go looking for Octavia, but the Grounders start picking them off. I wonder what number they are down to now? But is the Grounder who has Octavia with those who are killing the rest?
If resources are as limited as they supposedly are, why are they throwing valuable organic material (bodies) out of the airlock? In a closed system, bodies would need recycling, not throwing away.
