“The Seer” is episode eight of season four of Stargate: Atlantis.
During the episode “Common Ground”, Colonel Sheppard formed a brief alliance with a Wraith who he named Todd. In the episode “Lifeline”, Dr. McKay managed to successfully re-program the Replicators to attack the Wraith.
At the end of the previous episode, “Missing”, it turned out that the rest of the Athosians hadn’t been killed. Teyla and the team visit a world which has a seer, Davos, who can see the future, hoping to find out what happened to her people. Davos tells Teyla that her people are still alive, but he doesn’t know where.
There are initially two strands to the plot, but they start to merge as the Wraith, Todd wants Colonel Sheppard’s help against the Replicators, who are destroying the Wraith’s food source – humans.
