“S.O.S.: Part 1” is episode twenty one of season two of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
At the end of the previous episode, “Scars”, Skye’s mother Jiaying had killed Gonzales at the peace talks between the Inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D. and then short herself with his gun. This was all part of a plan to start a war between the Inhumans and S.H.I.E.L.D. Even handing over Cal to S.H.I.E.L.D. was part of the plan, in order to attack S.H.I.E.L.D. from the inside.
Agent 33 and Ward have taken Bobbi, in order that the former can get ‘closure.’ Not a good sign for Bobbi, as Grant’s own closure involved killing people.
A war between S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Inhumans is increasingly likely, as the latter have mostly been duped into believing S.H.I.E.L.D. attacked them.
Events are spiralling out of control, and are probably going to get worse.
