“From Fear to Eternity” is episode eight of season three of Eureka.
Thorne’s plans to get the bunker thermally cleansed have been stymied by Allison, so she tries something new. She plans to seal it of entirely, with a new substance. Whilst investigating one of the cannisters containing the substance, Carter accidentally sticks Jo and Zane together. The proposed solution isn’t helpful – cut their legs off. Unsurprisingly, neither Zane nor Jo like this idea.
Zoe is having problems with tiredness, and changes to her genetic structure. It turns out that the mystery liquid she slipped in in the bunker in “Phased and Confused” is rapidly ageing her. Carter needs to get into the bunker before it is sealed off, to get a sample of the liquid, but he fails. He and Thorne are both stuck inside and a cure for Zoe’s ailment is becoming even more important. Rapid ageing leads to rapid death from old age.
Finally, Thorne’s past is revealed.
