“Welcome Back, Carter” is episode nine of season three of Eureka.
After the events of the previous episode, “From Fear to Eternity”, when the meaning of the bunker was explained and Thorne revealed who, and how old, she was, Carter was fired from the position of sheriff for letting her go instead of arresting her.
Carter is looking for a new job with the DHS; Allison is trying to get him rehired. Instead, and instead of Jo getting the job, the DoD brings in a new, experimental robot, Sheriff Andy, and Jo quits in disgust.
Andy seems to be doing a decent job, but things start falling over. First, some trees – which Andy rules as accidental – then an antenna falls on Andy (a really big antenna, not just a little one that would be stuck on a house), and then he gets flattened. Andy is not doing so well from these accidents. In fact, he seems to being targeted by them.
There looks to be a new plot strand.
