“Here Come the Suns” is episode seven of season three of Eureka.
The election of Eureka’s mayor is happening soon, and the campaigning is getting heated – and then a second sun appears in the sky. It’s small and low, but still works just like a sun would. It’s actually a science experiment gone wrong. It’s also one that is unfortunately going to go supernova, rather than evaporate. Even a small supernova is bad at close range.
Thorne is having the bunker found in the previous episode, “Phased and Confused”, thermally cleansed. Carter, Allison and Zane want to find out why before she does it (because there’s not going to be anything left to discover afterwards). It seems that Thorne may actually have a long standing grudge against Eureka; possibly connected to bodies that were found in the bunker.
