“Blink” is episode seven of season one of Eureka.
At a town meeting, held over people’s phones (back when this episode was originally aired, that was far more impressive than it sound today. Technology has caught up a bit since then), Carter tries to get everyone interested in starting a baseball game. Which is harder work than he would expect.
There’s been a hit and run, but it’s a rather different one. The car was apparently hit by someone on foot and invisible. The driver isn’t drunk, and the car has been badly damaged. Taggart blames Bigfoot; Carter is doubtful about whether a mythical humanoid beast could be responsible.
The car had actually been hit by a person, and said person is rather a mess. More than could really be accounted for by the speed of the car.
Things point to Section 5 at Global Dynamics so Stark takes over, unless Carter can prove that a crime has been committed. Stark and Carter aren’t getting on that well.
