“Proof of Purchase” is episode three of season two of Dark Angel.
This episode opens with Alec fighting in a cage match – one that is being watched by Normal as it happens – and winning. Which is probably not that surprising. Unfortunately for him, after he wins, he is captured by White’s men.
White is going to kill him, but instead offers a deal: bring back the barcodes of three other Manticore escapees within 24 hours, and he will get to live.
Joshua, who helped Max escape in “Designate This”, is causing trouble in Seattle, as he looks for something. Logan has found a former Manticore tech who says he can fix the virus that Max is infected with, and Lydecker – who now seems to be on side – is investigating Renfro and Max’s strange genetic make-up – which leads him to something unusual.
