“Heat” is episode three of season one of Dark Angel.
Max is having problems with her sex drive, basically due to the feline DNA that is involved in her makeup – which means she’s essentially in heat. Consequently, she’s attracted to pretty much anything male, with appearance being not exactly relevant.
Other than that, she and Logan seem to be actually working together. Although he hasn’t managed to find out anything more about the other escaped child, Logan has managed to track down the woman who helped Max escape from the Manticore programme back before the Pulse, by providing room to hide after she was away from the facility.
Max intends to go and find the woman to see what else she can tell her – it seems she was involved in Manticore in some way – but Lydecker is also on Max’s trail.
