“Art Attack” is episode twelve of season one of Dark Angel.
Logan kind of asks Max to be his date for his cousin’s wedding, and Max agrees, even though she really doesn’t understand the whole idea of marriage. After all, she wasn’t exactly raised in a traditional family environment. In order to attend, Max needs appropriate attire, so she steals a dress. Although she does intend to return it, so perhaps ‘borrow’ would be a better word.
Sketchy, meanwhile, has helped mess up a delivery. Consequently, a criminal expecting to receive an original Norman Rockwell painting instead receives some blueprints. He is not happy, and holds Normal responsible for returning it. The man expecting the blueprints got a painting, but he’s not a trigger-happy criminal.
In between socialising at the wedding, Max also has to help Normal out, all while wearing a dress she intends to return. Which means that said dress needs to be in the same condition it was when she borrowed it.
