“The Test” is episode ten of season five of Andromeda.
Beka and Doyle are out in the Eureka Maru when the Route of Ages opens and something comes out. Whatever it was goes to Seefra 1, and a strange man appears.
Harper is making a deal with an old man for a device that can create water. Then Dylan finds the man dying, and takes him to Harper’s bar.
The storm then comes down and Harper, Beka, Trance, Dylan and Rhade are in the bar, with the lights going out, where the stranger appears and says one of them killed the old man.
A rather bizarre episode (and that’s saying something for this season) – most of it happens in the bar, with no lights, except when a person is illuminated in order to have a conversation. Surely there isn’t enough room in the bar for all the separate conversations that are being had.
