“Decay of the Angel” is episode four of season five of Andromeda.
After the events of the previous episode, “Phear Phactor Phenom”, everyone has finally been found, although Rommie is still in bits, Harper hasn’t returned to the Andromeda Ascendant, and the ship itself is in a bad way. Harper’s friend, Doyle, is having odd nightmares, relating to the attack on the Andromeda and Arkology by the Magog in “The Dissonant Interval: Part 2”. Odd, because she wasn’t there – and she’s an android, even if she doesn’t know it, so how can she be having nightmares in the first place? Harper and Doyle also meet someone claiming to be from the, or, at least, a, future.
Andromeda detects a slipstream event in the Seefra system, so Dylan gets Beka to use the Eureka Maru to tow them out there. Then the ship is attacked and, upon approaching an asteroid, is tesseracted out to somewhere else before being boarded. Someone really wants the ship.
