“Answers Given to Questions Never Asked” is episode one of season four of Andromeda.
At the end of the season three finale, “Shadows Cast by a Final Salute”, much of the new fleet of the Systems Commonwealth had been destroyed, and the Commonwealth itself was in trouble, possibly falling – again.
After Tyr’s actions, the remaining crew of the Andromeda Ascendant are trying to decide what to do, when a courier comes to them, and as a result they head back to the battle site.
The courier’s message is from the man who manipulated the system that caused the fleet being damaged – and he seems more than a little unbalanced. It’s not entirely his fault though.
He also has one of the Triumvars of the new Commonwealth, and is at a very odd place in space.
