“Nevermore” is episode eleven of season three of The 100.
In the previous episode, “Fallen”, Arkadia had fallen to Alie. Once Abby was forced to take one of Alie’s chips – basically by not letting her stop Raven from dying until she did – all the rest of the camp quickly followed suit. Jasper was fleeing, with an injured Raven in the back, when Clarke arrived looking for Lincoln. Only to find out that Pike had executed him. Which is a bit inconvenient, as she needs knowledge only Lincoln apparently had. Pike himself was led into a Grounder trap by Bellamy and is being taken to Polis. Kane is accompanying them, believing that peace with the Grounders will now happen. Unfortunately, he doesn’t know that the new Commander is Ontari, and that she wants all of Skiecru dead.
This episode opens with Jasper and Clarke in the rover that Jasper stole and the unconscious Raven in the back. Alie is waiting for Raven to wake up so she can see where they are, and Jasper is really not that happy with Clarke (because she caused the death of his girlfriend, Maya, in “Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2”). They are heading to the cave. In the cave, Octavia is planning to head back to Arkadia, despite what Jasper told them. She is still not happy with her brother, as she says that Bellamy turned Pike over to the Grounders to protect her, not because it was the right thing.
When Jasper arrives, he says that they need to get Raven into the cave before she wakes up. He’s presumably realised that Alie will know where Raven is, so a cave will make it hard to locate her. Jasper also mentions that Raven was working on something using the wristbands that they were originally sent down with in “Pilot” but that Jaha destroyed them all. When Raven wakes up, she sees Clarke holding the Flame, A.L.I.E. 2.0. Which Alie recognises and wants. Clarke also says she knows where they can find a wristband.
They head to Niylah’s, who Clarke met in “Wanheda: Part 1” (Niylah is currently the only person to have survived being intimate with Clarke – and she was very nearly killed). She isn’t happy to see them wither, because her father was in the army which was wiped out by Pike in “Watch the Thrones”. So Bellamy proceeds with his usual lack of tact. Niylah has one of the wristbands, and Sinclair believes he knows what Raven wanted with it – use an EMP to fry Alie. They need some more technology, though – and the process may destroy Raven anyway.
With Raven under Alie’s control she is not the most cooperative of people, and a direct feed to Alie. She manages to get under Clarke’s, Jasper’s and Bellamy’s skin in order to get what Alie wants. There are a lot of tensions between the various members of the group, and Alie brings them out. Which does at least mean they are out in the open.
Monty gets put in a really unpleasant position by Alie.
Nothing from Polis, Ontari and what the reaction will be when Pike and Kane arrive. Which probably won’t be good.
