“Evolution: Part 2” is episode twelve of season seven of Stargate SG-1.
In the previous episode, “Evolution: Part 1”, Daniel had been captured in Honduras whilst searching for the item of Ancient technology that was found by the Goa’uld Telchak, and which had been used to eventually create the sarcophagi, as well as being believed to create Anubis’s new super-soldiers.
Daniel and Dr Lee may have found an artefact, but they now need rescuing – and their location is unknown. The CIA agent in the area is someone O’Neill has history with, and he wants Jack along on the rescue. The others are going on a mission to Anubis’s planet that the super-soldiers are being made on.
The alien worlds in these later episodes sure are a far cry from those seen in earlier episodes. Which tended to resemble terrestrial fields and forests.
