“Adjustment Protocol” is episode twelve of season six of The 100.
In the previous episode, “Ashes to Ashes”, Clarke returned to Sanctum, posing as Josephine. This episode opens with Russell implanting a new mind drive in Clarke, talking about the rebellion and how he plans to crush it tonight. Madi is conscious, although, going by some of the threats she’s making, it sounds like Sheidheda’s in charge. As Madi, as Russell summons Abby, Raven and Jackson back in, tells Raven that she will kill the child if Raven continues with what she’s doing.
the others think Clarke is Josephine and Clarke is playing along. Abby tells Russell she will kill him. Russell thought there were things he would never do but, after killing his family during the first eclipse, he found he would do anything to bring them back. So, he believes her. Possibly not a good sign. Russell tells Abby he needs more bone marrow from Madi, enough to bring back all the Primes.
Gabriel, Octavia and Bellamy, along with the Children of Gabriel, are waiting outside the shield for Clarke to lower it. Bellamy is worried about Echo. Octavia reassures him and says Murphy will help. Bellamy doesn’t find that last reassuring.
Murphy and Emori are in Sanctum. Emori isn’t happy about them betraying their friends; she doesn’t know that Murphy is playing along. Clarke and Russell enter; Clarke says she needs to change and wants Russell to wait before bringing back her mother. After Clarke leaves, Russell asks Murphy if he’s still with them. Because if anything happens to Russell or his family…
Truthfully, Ryker won’t help as Echo killed him, as Clarke discovers, but she removes his mind drive to use as leverage with Priya, just before Russell arrives with his guards. Russell assumes the escapees have the mind drive and Clarke says she will find it.
In the lab, Raven has been booted from the Flame again; she says it’s almost as if the AI is protecting Sheidheda. Maybe it is. They hear a sound and stop working as Russell arrives with guards and hosts. He sees that Abby has made herself into a donor and tells Abby she defied him. Abby says he has his doses; does it really matter who from? Russell agrees it doesn’t.
Gabriel and the other hear the guards talking at a shift change about multiple Namings. So, Gabriel goes through the fence, takes down the new guard and interrogates him. Gabriel plans to stop the Namings.
Priya is organising a feast at Delilah’s parents, where Echo, Gaia and Miller are hiding, as Clarke arrives. Clarke wants Priya to come to the machine shop because Ryker won’t wipe the prisoner. Echo tells the other two they can’t let them leave, and they attack. The guards are taken down and Clarke clothesline’s Priya, revealing that she is Clarke. Clarke plans to use Ryker’s mind drive as leverage to get Priya to take down the reactor.
With Gabriel moving before planned, the plan is now a bit off the rails and things are going to get very messy.
