“Redemption: Part 2” is episode two of season six of Stargate SG-1.
In the previous episode, “Redemption: Part 1”, Anubis had transformed Earth’s stargate into a bomb. When it can’t absorb any more energy, it will explode, devastating the planet. The attempt to get help from the Asgard with the X-302 didn’t work, and Teal’c is stuck off planet, where he was attending the funeral of his wife. Bra’tac suggests trying to discover which planet Anubis is transmitting the destructive signal from, and attacking. Anubis has got a lot of new technology that the Goa’uld never had before. He has acquired some Asgard tech and, by the looks of it, Ancient tech too. This currently means he has access to the most powerful technology around.
Rodney comes up with a suggestion that Carter is less than impressed with. Which is hardly unusual.
Bra’tac and Teal’c, along with other Jaffa and Teal’c’s son, Rya’c, launch their attack in a Tel’tak.
