“Need” is episode five of season two of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are spying on an operation that is mining naquadah, the element that the stargates are made of, that is very valuable to the Goa’uld. It’s a pretty important element, needless to say.
The local princess decides to kill herself, but Daniel stops her – which doesn’t create any immediate benefit as her father sentences them to work in the mines. When Daniel is injured when the team tries to escape, she has him healed in a Goa’uld sarcophagus, even though neither she nor her father are Goa’uld, and their Jaffa are not Jaffa.
The sarcophagus proves to have some nasty side effects though.
A team member seduced by the local princess? Paging Captain Kirk! I guess Daniel forgot he was married for a bit there.
