“It’s Good To Be King” is episode thirteen of season eight of Stargate SG-1.
Ba’al is winning the war with the other Goa’uld System Lords, as he has the advantage of Anubis’s super soldiers. The losing System Lords are now re-conquering former planets of theirs in desperation. One of these planets, which was previously used by Ares, is the one where Harry Maybourne was dropped off by the Tok’ra in “Paradise Lost”.
SG-1 go there in order to rescue him from capture and torture and discover that Maybourne has become king. Maybourne knows that the Goa’uld are coming – because he can read the future. He actually found some Ancient ruins where there is a record of the planet’s entire history. Which includes events that haven’t happened yet, and the stone’s predictions are correct. The planet’s natives made Maybourne king in gratitude for his predictions.
Maybourne wants SG-1 to stay and fight the Goa’uld, as he has predicted. According to Daniel, the stone is a log of an Ancient time traveller, and the stone was carved comparatively recently. He also thinks that the ship used may still be around.
They discover it (and it resembles one of the puddlejumpers from Atlantis), but in order to get it to work, they need a suitable pilot – Jack O’Neill.
Oddly, no time travel in this episode despite having access to a time machine.
