“Prometheus Unbound” is episode twelve of season eight of Stargate SG-1.
Daniel is trying, and failing, to convince Jack to let him go to Atlantis, when General Hammond arrives and asks for Daniel’s help on the mission to Atlantis. General Hammond is taking the Prometheus to Atlantis using the new Asgard hyperdrive, as the Atlantis expedition hasn’t been heard from since they left.
Before they even manage to leave the Milky Way, the Prometheus picks up a distress call. They divert and find a damaged Al’kesh and a cargo ship. When they go to the Al’kesh, what appears to be one of Anubis’s super soldiers transports onto the Prometheus, stuns and transports the crew to the Al’kesh and steals the ship. Only Daniel is still on board.
It’s also not a super soldier, but a former Goa’uld host, played by Claudia Black, who previously played Officer Aeryn Sun in Farscape.
I had known that she was going to be a part of the show, but I was beginning to wonder when she was going to arrive.
