“Endgame” is episode ten of season eight of Stargate SG-1.
During the graveyard shift, the stargate vanishes from inside the SGC. Which, seeing as it is in Cheyenne Mountain, seems a little tricky – at least, until it’s discovered that it was removed using Asgard beaming technology.
It seems unlikely that the Asgard would have simply taken it, as they generally don’t trundle around stealing technology from their allies, so initial suspicion falls on Ba’al, who had acquired much of the technology Anubis had acquired before his defeat, which included Asgard beaming technology, as he seized control. It then turns out that The Trust appear to be responsible instead.
When Osiris tried getting information from Daniel in “Chimera” and failed, his/her cloaked ship remained in orbit, location unknown. The Trust had managed to find the ship and get on board it, which is partly why they had Daniel decipher some Ancient writings in “Affinity”.
Teal’c is currently off-world meeting some rebel Jaffa leaders. When Jaffa start falling dead, apparently a victim of the Tok’ra symbiote poison, the Tok’ra themselves are initially suspected, but the timing is too coincidental.
More cloak and dagger stuff against The Trust, who have replaced the NID as the principal Earth-based foe.
