“Chimera” is episode fifteen of season seven of Stargate SG-1.
Daniel is dreaming about his old girlfriend, Sarah, who was taken over by the Goa’uld Osiris in “The Curse” (meaning that he has had both a girlfriend and a wife taken over by the Goa’uld; rather poor luck). Only, he’s not simply dreaming – Osiris is there manipulating his dreams. During “Grace”, Sam had discussions with several visions which suggested she should start trying to improve her personal life. She has since become involved with a Denver cop, Pete, a friend of her brother.
Osiris wants Daniel to translate a tablet for him/her. Of course, Daniel doesn’t know it’s Osiris in the dream. The tablet has directions to the Lost City of the Ancients.
Will Sam’s relationship work out better than her previous ones? In which the men died (which is a pretty bad result). Will Daniel twig onto Osiris’s manipulations before he reveals too much?
