“Birthright” is episode ten of season seven of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are meeting a Jaffa who apparently belongs to a group who, too, are seeking freedom for all Jaffa, when they are ambushed – only for their ambushers to also be ambushed by more rebel Jaffa, all female. They want help against the Goa’uld, Moloc.
30 years prior, Moloc had instructed that all female births amongst the Jaffa be killed by giving them to the fire. The renegade Jaffa have been saving the girls from Moloc, but they need symbiotes and want SG-1’s help in getting them. Carter offers an alternative, the drug tetronin that was encountered in “The Cure”.
Not everyone is happy with this idea.
