“The Queen” is episode eight of season five of Stargate: Atlantis.
Teyla, Ronon, Sheppard, McKay and Dr. Keller are having a meeting with Todd the Wraith. When Michael kidnapped Teyla in the series of episodes starting in “The Kindred: Part 1” he told her that had developed a way of stopping the Wraith from needing to feed on humans. Dr. Keller has since developed it further and the team are offering it to Todd the Wraith.
Todd is interested, but he needs a Wraith queen to speak to the head queen in his alliance to convince her. She will only talk to another queen, and unfortunately his is dead. Teyla has already been shown to possess Wraith DNA and Todd suggests a surgical procedure to turn her into a queen. Not everything is as it seems and Teyla becomes a queen, and in much more detail, for longer than she had planned.
