“The Kindred: Part 2” is episode nineteen of season four of Stargate: Atlantis.
At the end of “The Kindred: Part 1”, Teyla had been kidnapped by the part-human/part-Wraith Michael, and it turned out that Michael was responsible for the disappearance of the Athosians in “Missing”.
Additionally, whilst conducting a raid on one of Michael’s strongholds, the team come across a prisoner, Carson Beckett. Which was a bit odd, as Dr. Beckett had been killed by an exploding tumour in “Sunday”. He was convinced that he had been taken prisoner by Michael during the episode of the same name. In turns out he is actually a clone. That’s one thing with science fiction series; there’s always a way to bring someone back, even if it isn’t the original someone.
Michael has been experimenting on Teyla’s people to turn them into soldiers, but he needs Teyla, and her baby, to progress further. The team tries to track her down, but the story still doesn’t conclude in this episode, continuing in the next, “The Last Man”.
