“The Forsaken” is episode seventeen of season one of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Four Federation ambassadors are visiting the station and proving themselves to be pains in the neck. Sisko has farmed off dealing with them to Julian Bashir, and the latter is not having much fun, although mostly he’s only shepherding three of them around.
The fourth is Lwaxana Troi, mother of TNG‘s Deanna Troi (who is played by Majel Barrett, Nurse Chapel from the original series and the regular female computer voice in all of the series). Unfortunately for Odo, she takes a bit of a shine to him, and starts pestering him.
Meanwhile, O’Brien is getting more than a little annoyed with the station’s computer, and wants to tear the thing to pieces and rebuild it. In addition, a probe has come through the wormhole and, after some files are downloaded to the station, things start going wrong. Including getting Odo and Lwaxana stuck in a turbolift.
