“Turn, Turn, Turn” is episode seventeen of season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
At the end of the previous episode, “End of the Beginning”, Coulson had confronted May, believing that she was working with the Clairvoyant, and the team’s aircraft had been overridden and diverted to the Hub (where Simmons and Triplett are) by Agent Hand, who had also given orders to kill everyone on the plane except Coulson.
At the beginning of this episode, two S.H.I.E.L.D. aircraft attempted to shoot down Garrett’s plane.
Coulson is trying to figure out what is going wrong when Garrett contacted him and asks for help. Things are staring to heat up. Of course, having seen The Winter Soldier, I can guess why some of this stuff is happening. And now Coulson’s team do, as the hidden enemy is finally revealed. Which may give things away if you haven’t seen The Winter Soldier yet.
It looks like the season finale won’t be connected to The Winter Soldier – I think this episode is taking place at the same time.
Bit of a twist to the ending.
This is an episode that really shouldn’t be seen prior to watching Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
