“The Dirty Half Dozen” is episode nineteen of season two of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Raina is definitely having visions of the future, and these affect Gordon and Skye’s actions in this episode.
In the previous episode, “The Frenemy of My Enemy”, Mike Peterson and Lincoln had been captured by HYDRA and Coulson had turned himself in the Gonzales’s forces.
Coulson wants Gonzales’s help in infiltrating and destroying Dr. List’s HYDRA base in the Arctic, as well as rescuing the gifted – including Mike and Lincoln – being held there.
As part of this, they are going to use Grant Ward, and the compliant Bakshi. Working with Ward again does not make the others happy. Which is not exactly surprising.
The episode links into the beginning of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
