“Repairs” is episode nine of season one of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The team is dispatched to investigate a potential telekinetic for adding to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s list after an accident at a particle accelerator leaves several people dead and one woman being blamed for it. After there are more incidents involving her, S.H.I.E.L.D. wants to find out if they have actually discovered a telekinetic – which will apparently be the first case of it.
There is a rather crudely handled bit early on in the episode that brings up how Agent May came to be called “the cavalry” – seemingly so that it could be referenced later on.
Other than that, which, although it did bring up something that needed to be shared, did need to be handled in a way in which it blended better into the story, not bad. What the team think they are looking for isn’t what they actually find.
