Farscape – Incubator

“Incubator” is episode eleven of season three of Farscape.

Scorpius is still having problems with the wormhole tests, and the pilots are still coming back liquefied. Which is hardly a success. Scorpius had previously revealed that the threat of the (non-existent) Peacekeeper wormhole technology was the only thing keeping back a Scarran attack – and if the Scarrans attack, the Peacekeepers are going to lose. The Scarrans are nastier than the Paecekeepers too. To help solve the problem, Scorpius decides to communicate with the version of Crichton on the neural chip that was removed in “Die Me, Dichotomy”. Scorpius reveals some of his early life to this Crichton. In order that this Crichton would gain an understanding into why Scorpius does what he does.

The Crichton on Moya is still searching for the wormhole anomalies he was looking for in “Losing Time”, and Jool and Chiana are driving each other insane – and, as a consequence, D’Argo also.

Finally, we learn more about Scorpius – and his motivations. Nothing from Talyn this episode.
