“Sanctuary: Part 1” is episode six of season one of Falling Skies.
In the previous episode, “Silent Kill”, Tom’s team had managed to recover the harnessed kids, including his son Ben, from the hospital and successfully removed the harnesses from all but one of them. The unharnessed kids aren’t being well received by many of the other people though, as they are regarding with suspicion and even hostility.
The 2nd Massachusetts are visited by Lieutenant Terry Clayton, the commander of the 7th Massachusetts, who tells them that his command has been almost completely wiped out by a force of Skitters and Mechs – with the exception of him (some leader – and rather suspicious) – and a few others.
Clayton tells them the force is heading their way, and that he has a plan to take all the children to safety.
And Pope is back!
