“Prisoner of War” is episode three of season one of Falling Skies.
Dr. Michael Harris has arrived at the headquarters of the 2nd Massachusetts. He believes that he has a safe method of removing the harnesses from the captured children without actually killing them. Tom’s team gets sent out to recover his son, Ben, so that the operation can be carried out on him.
Meanwhile, Pope, who captured Tom’s team in the previous episode (or the second half of the series première) “The Armory”, and then was himself captured, complains about the quality of food being served. When asked if he can do better, he says he can, as he is a qualified chef – a qualification earned in prison admittedly.
I like Pope. Even though he is not a nice person he is an interesting character; having him suddenly complaining about paprika being added to a chicken dish is quite funny.
