“Invincible” is episode five of season one of Eureka.
A scientist (possibly best known for playing Artie in Warehouse 13; a slight continuity problem there, as Eureka is set in the same universe as Warehouse 13 and there’s a crossover episode later on when one of the people from that series visits the town) has been working for years on cellular regeneration with no joy. He’s also a little odd. When his latest experiment goes wrong, catching Carter in the blast, Stark summarily fires him.
Disillusioned, he decides to jump off a bridge. When Carter tries to stop him, they both fall – and survive. It seems that the cellular regeneration may be working after all.
In the previous episode, “Alienated”, there was reference to an unknown artefact. This artefact has interfered with the experiment, and caused the regeneration.
We don’t know what this artefact is yet. It could be an ongoing plot element for this season.
