“The World Turns All Around Her” is episode seven of season four of Andromeda.
In the previous episode, “Soon the Nearing Vortex”, Dylan had got the Route of Ages and Beka had gone to see Tyr. She seems to have joined his side. Tyr also reveals some troubling information – the Magog world ship is only a month away, not a year. Which is bad.
Dylan takes the Andromeda Ascendant – with Telemachus Rhade, who has joined the crew – to the place indicated in the Route of Ages that will take them to the Abyss, and Tyr and Beka follow in the Eureka Maru. They all end up in a strange universe, the universe of the Abyss.
Trance reveals who and what she really is – which doesn’t seem to jibe with other reveals in the past – and nothing seems to be accomplished in regards to actually stopping The Abyss. The reborn Systems Commonwealth also seems to have some really serious problems.
