“Machinery of the Mind” is episode nine of season four of Andromeda.
The Andromeda Ascendant is going to a conference, at which Harper is going to give the keynote speech. It’s a meeting of all the best minds in the Systems Commonwealth, to see what they can do to stop the Magog threat (going to the Abyss’s universe in “The World Turns All Around Her” doesn’t seem to have changed anything).
Before they arrive, one of the delegates has gone missing. Plus, some Commonwealth bailiffs – Collectors – turn up and demand that Dylan accompany them to a meeting with one of the Triumvars. The meeting is a sham, and the Collectors want something different.
More delegates at the conference are attacked, and Dylan is still missing.
