“Fear and Loathing in the Milky Way” is episode seventeen of season one of Andromeda.
Dylan and the Andromeda Ascendant have to return to one of the three (three in a year; no wonder Dylan starts getting depressed – this is not great progress) planets that has agreed to join the new Systems Commonwealth and stop them from backing out (another reason to get depressed).
Trance and Harper, meanwhile, are in the Eureka Maru on a station when Gerentex, the Nightsider who had the plan to recover the Andromeda from the black hole in “Under the Night” boards the ship and forces them to help him.
He is looking for a diary that will apparently give the location of the lost capital of the Systems Commonwealth, which was apparently cut off from the slipstream during the war.
Quite a bit of humour in this episode.
