“D Minus Zero” is episode four of season one of Andromeda.
The Andromeda Ascendant receives a signal from a High Guard ship dating back to the time of the Fall of the Systems Commonwealth. Dylan heads there to see if they can get any information regarding supply caches and the like, but on the way into the debris field that the signal is coming from, they are attacked.
The ensuing battle highlights some problems with the new, very small, crew of mainly civilians now serving on a military vessel designed for a much, much bigger crew. Even if said ship can do a lot of thinking for itself.
At the beginning of every episode so far, there has been a (made up) historical quote of some kind. I wonder if that will continue through the entire series – these things aren’t the easiest to come up with.
