“Cui Bono” is episode four of season three of Andromeda.
The Andromeda Ascendant stops some pirates attacking a courier ship. On board the ship is Beka’s Uncle Sid, also known as Sam Profitt, who was last seen in “The Pearls, That Were His Eyes”. Given that on their previous encounter, Uncle Sid had tried to kill Beka, she is less than pleased to see him again.
Uncle Sid is also running for one of the top jobs in the new Systems Commonwealth, something that doesn’t make any aboard the Andromeda particularly happy. The Andromeda has to escort him to the election; however, before they manage that, there’s an assassination attempt on him, which results in the entire planet dissolving into chaos.
