“Bodyguard of Lies” is episode fourteen of season two of The 100.
Jaha, Murphy and their surviving followers are getting close to the City of Light, or at least where they believe the city is located. Their followers go down again, as they encounter a mine field, and several step on mines and are killed. Jafa’s belief in the city is getting practically religious. What they first find isn’t what they expect, but the name is accurate, at least to a degree.
The forces of the Grounders are ready to attack Mount Weather, but there’s still the problem with the acid fog, which is a weapon that the mountain deploys, not a natural phenomenon. Bellamy is inside trying to disable it, but not having much luck. Inside Mount Weather, the remaining members of the 48 were hidden by rogue elements in Mount Weather at the end of “Resurrection”.
Two possible new relationships; one expected, one rather surprising.
