“Threads” is episode eighteen of season eight of Stargate SG-1.
At the end of the previous episode, “Reckoning: Part 2”, the Replicators had apparently been destroyed by the Ancient weapon. And Daniel had apparently died – again. This time at the hands of Replicator Sam. Just as he died and Replicator Sam was about to be destroyed by the beam, it looked like they were both transported out.
O’Neill is refusing to have a memorial for Daniel without definite proof that he’s dead. Daniel himself is in what looks like an American diner, being served by Oma Desala. He has a choice – he can become Ascended again, or die, or Ascend and become human again – but Anubis is planning to retake Dekara. The free Jaffa don’t want to destroy the weapon either.
Sam is introducing Pete to her father but she’s also having second thoughts about the relationship.
Some more is revealed about Anubis’s history and how he came to Ascend, and un-Ascend.
