“The Tomb” is episode eight of season five of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are attempting to get into a ziggurat that, supposedly, hasn’t been visited for thousands of years – then they discover evidence that Russians have been there recently. It appears that, during the time that the stargate the Russians were operating in “Watergate”, that they acquired after Thor’s ship crashed into the ocean in “Nemesis”, a team may have sneaked through.
A Russian team is going to accompany SG-1 in a mission to open the ziggurat, dedicated to the Babylon god Marduk, and look for the missing Russians. Something that O’Neill is less than happy about.
At least some of the Russians in the ziggurat appear to have been eaten. Some of the accompanying Russian team should have been wearing red shirts. Like that couldn’t be seen coming. And something that seems like it has been lifted from The Mummy.
