“The Quest: Part 2” is episode eleven of season ten of Stargate SG-1.
At the end of the previous episode, “The Quest: Part 1”, SG-1 – along with Ba’al and Adria – were being menaced by a dragon, something that they had all believed to be a myth. It doesn’t look all that impressive a dragon, even if it breathes fire, at least to start with – until it gets outside. Then, it looks rather larger. This is another dragon with only four limbs (two legs and two wings), though – European dragons are usually depicted with six.
SG-1 manage to escape and, although they don’t find the Sangraal, they do find Merlin who is in cryogenic stasis. With Merlin, they could build the weapon again, but Adria is chasing them and Merlin is frail, leading Daniel to make a risky move.
