“The Gamekeeper” is episode four of season two of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are examining some strange pods in a structure that appears to be constructed at a much higher level of technology when all four team members are grabbed by the pods.
O’Neill and Teal’c appear in a combat mission from Jack’s past which ended badly – in which the now-deceased Kowalsky participated. Daniel and Carter appear in the New York Museum of Art where his parents were killed at the time they were. The events play again and again. This is a game, but not one SG-1 want to play. But what is real, and what is virtual?
Dwight Schultz (probably best known for playing ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock in The A-Team – the original television series, not the film, although he did have a brief appearance in that – although he also had a recurring guest role in Star Trek: The Next Generation) guest stars.
