“Orpheus” is episode four of season seven of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are returning through the gate to the SGC but, although they make it through, Teal’c takes a staff blast to the symbiote pouch, but because he is on tritonin, he manages to survive it. The Jaffa were loyal to Ba’al, who is now the most powerful Goa’uld System Lord. Thanks, largely, to the efforts of SG-1 in “Homecoming” – a rather unintended side effect.
Teal’c struggles to come to terms with his injury, and Daniel is trying to remember something he thinks he knew whilst he was Ascended. After he un-Ascended – or was un-Ascended (descended doesn’t really seem like the correct word here). The knowledge he had as an Ascended being was basically removed.
Then Daniel has a vision showing that Rya’c and Bra’tac are in danger.
