“Fragile Balance” is episode three of season seven of Stargate SG-1.
Daniel is now fully back, and back to being a normal human once again, and Jonas Quinn went back home in the previous episode, “Homecoming”. Someone has tried to enter the base using Colonel O’Neill’s security pass. That person is a teenage boy. That boy claims he is Jack O’Neill. This statement is met with disbelief – he is, after all, a bit on the young side to be the colonel. O’Neill himself cannot be contacted.
The young Jack says he went to sleep and woke up like this. He does know far a lot of classified and personal information. A DNA test shows that the boy does appear to be O’Neill. Or at least has identical DNA.
So, how did Jack end up like this? He also wants to get back to normal.
When they visit Jack’s house, he has an apparent flashback of being visited by the Asgard. Which sounds oddly like the common alien abduction cases – after all, the Asgard do oddly resemble the Greys. Perhaps there’s a reason for that.
