“Cor-Ai” is episode sixteen of season one of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 travel to a new planet, and Teal’c says that he remembers being there before with Apophis, back when he served him.
One of the natives seems to remember Teal’c too – for killing his father. Teal’c is then put on trial for this, and unfortunately Teal’c did it. Being First Prime of a Goa’uld System Lord meant doing some rather nasty things. The punishment is death. The problem then arises of how to stop Teal’c being executed for this – as he is not the person he used to be.
O’Neill does have an idea – which Teal’c doesn’t agree with because he feels he should be punished – based on his military experience.
You can tell that the early episodes did not have as high a budget, and they had to depend more on things like a story.
