“Bloodlines” is episode twelve of season one of Stargate SG-1.
During a failed operation to try to remove the Goa’uld larva from Teal’c, he starts dreaming about his son. Teal’c suggests that SG-1 return to Chulak to get another Goa’uld larva, and reveals that he had left a son, and wife, on Chulak – something that wasn’t known before.
His son, Rya’c, will shortly undergo the ceremony to make him a true Jaffa, and receive his own Goa’uld larva – something that Teal’c does not want to happen. SG-1 is sent to Tewlak to try and help, but when they get there. Teal’c’s house is a burnt out ruin. His former master is waiting there, and tells him that his family has survived.
This episode sees the first appearance of Master Bra’tac, who appears in quite a few episodes.
