“Ascension” is episode three of season five of Stargate SG-1.
SG-1 are exploring a ruined city when they come across a structure that appears different to the rest of the buildings around. Carter is examining an advanced piece of unknown technology when she is knocked unconscious.
When Carter comes round, she is told to take it easy for a bit. She then starts seeing a strange man, who is also acting strangely. He says that he Ascended, and that he followed her back through the stargate. Everyone else thinks that Carter is potentially crazy. You’d think they’d be used to people saying things that make them sound crazy, when they actually aren’t because they’re true, by now.
Ascension is something linked to the Ancients.
